Calculating % of substance in an article

My company does not deal with chemicals per say, but we do sell “articles” into the EU. Those articles are made up of substances which in most part are not a SVHC. My question is this…. As I pull together the MSDSs of our products, I am trying to figure out how much of a particular substance is in that product. Even though they are not currently on the list of SVHCs…some day they maybe. Do you know of a somewhat simple formula that would help me calculate the % of the w/w of any substance in a article?

It depends on the article. And also you need to consider some 6 countries (inc. Germany and France) insist on the calculation has to be made according to every single component of the complex articles..
As far as I know some firms (like SAP) have those kind of software that you can track these SVHCs.
